The Hartstone Board of Directors along with on-site full-time staff serve the camp with a vision of intentionality, care, and love that permeates the seasonal staff and is reflected in each aspect of the camp’s operations. From delicious home-style cooked meals served with love three times a day in our fireside Dining Hall, to our immaculately-kept grounds located in the mountains of Mendocino County, we strive to provide a respite from the stresses and routines of everyday life for church families—a place where they can fellowship together, worship the Lord in His beautiful creation, and study His Word as a church body.

HOSTING CHURCH GROUPS IN A CAMP ENVIRONMENT

Hartstone Bible Camp welcomes Christian organizations throughout the year on our 95-acre campus. Rather than providing preset programs, we host Christian groups, providing home-cooked meals and well-kept facilities designed to facilitate each group’s unique needs. Groups provide their own programs, with our staff working behind the scenes to serve you. We are close to Lake Pillsbury, Lake Mendocino, Blue Lakes, Clearlake, and other beautiful spots in Northern California; just an hour's drive from the Mendocino coast. Our camp has 15 cabins that sleep 100-110 people, along with eight RV sites and additional spaces for tent camping.

FEATURES OF OUR FACILITY

The Hartstone campus offers:

 

• A large Dining Hall/Family Room with three home cooked meals a day and a cozy fireplace 

• A state-of-the-art Chapel with advanced audio/video equipment

• An outdoor amphitheater with spectacular mountain views

• A large fire pit for special times, singing, s’mores and sharing around the campfire

• 15 clean, cozy cabins that sleep 100-110 people

• Men’s and women’s restrooms with individual showers

 

In addition, our outdoor and recreational facilities include:

• Archery Range: Bows & Arrows Provided

• Playing Fields

• Recreational Equipment Wall with all Kinds of Balls, Frisbees, etc.

• Campfires: Provided by Staff in Mornings and Evenings

• Playground Structures

• Lighted: Sand Volleyball Court, Shuffleboard Court, Shuffleboard Table, Horseshoe Pit, Cornhole Toss, 3 Gutterball Tables, Ping Pong, and Foosball Tables

• Private Riverfront Beach Access on the Eel River (perfect for swimming, tubing, fishing, and baptisms)

• Private Catch & Release Bass Fishing Pond
