SERVING CHURCHES THROUGH A CAMP EXPERIENCE

Hartstone Bible Camp was founded in 1967. Since then—50 years later—we remain a Northern California Christian camp dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ, striving to serve our staff and campers by providing a service-oriented camp experience in the mountains of Mendocino County. Our Board of Directors operates the camp under a written Constitution and By-Laws. We strive to do everything in light of our mission statement: “To share Christ’s love by serving churches through a camp experience.”

EXCELLENT SERVICE. EXCELLENT FOOD. EXCELLENT ENVIRONMENT.

There’s something for everyone at our campground. Less than an hour’s drive from the redwoods and the Mendocino coast, Hartstone is a hidden gem, offering campers a true escape from routine with winding hiking trails, cool river swims, nights around the campfire, bass fishing, skies full of stars, and—most importantly—fellowship with families and fellow believers. With a friendly environment, delicious food, and 90 acres of beauty to explore and enjoy, you’ll make memories that last a lifetime. We can’t wait to share this place with you and your loved ones. To learn more about Hartstone Bible Camp, or to book a stay with us for your church or ministry group, please fill out our contact form or or call us at (707) 743-1621. We can't wait to welcome you.

Hartstone is our home away from home. It is the highlight every year for my family and is the perfect place for my kids to have fun and explore. My church has been coming to Hartstone since its inception and I can honestly say it is different and unique from so many other places because of the staff. We feel so loved and cared for every time we come, they truly are the hands and feet of Jesus.

WHAT OUR CAMPERS SAY

Every spring we bring our 6th grade class to Hartstone for our Outdoor Education Program, it is the highlight of our year. Not only is Hartstone’s environment well-kept and maintained, it is the perfect place to observe and study God in the beauty of His creation.

-Julie Arendt, Teacher

 Rincon Valley Christian School

Having the privilege to live so close to Hartstone and be involved with this ministry personally, I can truly say that I love this place and feel so loved by the people that are involved with it. Our church was one of the founding churches that started Hartstone years ago and I am so happy to see Christ’s continual provision and blessings upon this ministry. I love that Hartstone is a place where people can come to worship Christ and draw nearer to Him!
